‘Rama Rama Raghu Rama’ is an attempt at telling misfortunes in life in a comedy style. The protagonist of this film is Raghu Rama (Rangayana Raghu). He is a constable always vouching for loyalty. He does not touch bribe and he is clean. That is the problem for Raghu Rama. He has a sister in the house married but her husband is not prepared to take her. The demand is Rs.25 lakhs as dowry. Raghu Rama brother and sister in the house pooh-pooh his nature of simplicity and loyalty.
To get Rs.25 lakhs Raghur Rama under takes series of attempts to end his life on duty. Every time he attempts to end his life something good is happening. All his attempts fail and it does not fail in evoking laughter to the audience. The popularity of Raghu Rama increases when he saves the bomb explosion. Even his superiors are his fans. All attempts Raghu Rama is making because he has another tragedy in his mind. The brain tumor report exchanged with another patient gets him back to life. Now he wants to live but underworld don is chasing him. What happens in the end you have to watch it!

Analysis : Director Raghuraj who did ‘Boss’ has made an assorted film taking inspiration and rewriting the concepts of a few films. The cop doing good job and it is giving him bad name is what we have seen in ‘Venkata in Sankata’. The inspiration for episodes is also driven from other Telugu and Tamil films. The film ‘RRRR’ focusing on life and death is interesting because of the performer like Rangayana Raghu.
At the end the product is of course passable with some hilarious moments. The film jumps from scene to scene without any connectivity. In the first half it is boring nothing happening and everything as expected.
Director Raghuraj claimed at the audio release that the narration is world class and not come anywhere so far. It seems he has poor knowledge about films. He does not see films it seems. There is absolutely nothing worthwhile on the screenplay part. It is routine and editing has not been done properly.
The characters are picked just because they are banded as comedy character artists. The major mistake of this movie is giving so much of responsibility for Rangayana Raghu. It is not that he has not done well but another vibrant actor was the need of the hour.
How many times on Indian screen the documents in the hospitals, blood sample get exchanged in the past there is no account. Director Raghuraj takes the liberty and not gives the logic. In the last scene where he gives an impression that Raghu Rama is dead and shows the cremation of his colleague.
A director has no business to take the audience for a ride. He will lose the credibility.
Performance : it is not a right role for Rangayana Raghu. It is not that he has given a good performance. His personality the unmarried status in the film all not acceptable because he has done highly graduated roles. To give an example it is ‘Modhala Sala’ as a caring father he is fabulous. In the dialogue delivery Rangayana Raghu is matchless.
Doddanna as another constable is convincing and the role is routine for him. Lakshmi Sri is matured and for the age of Rangayana Raghu the selection is OK. Shobaraj in the penultimate scenes win as a villain. Sadhu Kokila role is irritating.
Technicality:
The songs are very poor in this film. None of the songs strike the mind after you come out from the theatre. Krishnakumar cinematography is adequate but very bad is the editing technique adopted by director Raghuraj.
Last but not the Least : Trying anything with popularity on one side give parched results!
