Movie Review Adhniayakudu Telugu 2012

The story begins with Bobby (Balayya) who is a professional killer but kills only with a good motive. All the while he thinks he has no parents but discovers that it is not true. Bobby’s father Ramakrishna Prasad (Balayya again) lives in Rayalaseema and has strong public following. He follows the footsteps of his father Harishchandra Prasad (Balayya again) who is killed and takes care of the people in the Seema region. However, Bobby discovers that a murder plot is planned by Ramakrishna Prasad’s arch enemy (Pradeep Rawat). He now goes to the same family to save his father. Will the family accept him? What happens to Ramakrishna Prasad? All this forms the rest of the story.

The director has come up with a good storyline and while the presentation was ok . Cinematography was unto the mark. Costumes were different and perfect while the art department was rich and appealing. Nandamuri Balakrishna gave a sincere and committed effort and he fit all the three roles promptly. If only the characters were given more meat, it would have been great. Lakshmi Rai was a total seductress especially in songs. Saloni was hardly there. Kota and Murali Sharma are wasted. Pradeep Rawat was usual. Brahmanandam brought few smiles. Rahman was nice. Jayasudha, Sukanya were ok.

The film has been in the cans since a long time as it went through various financial issues.. There is nothing happening in the first half barring few episodes of songs and comedy. The second half gathers momentum. The lack of drama and proper dialogues is another setback.

Verdict :  For Balayya Fans !!!!!! - Rating : 3.5  / 5
