As a producer, Shah Rukh Khan is making sure that his upcoming release ‘Ra.One’ doesn’t go wrong at any places. Apart from his deep involvement in script and technical aspects, he has started looking into the business of the movie. According to the trade reports, Star India has acquired the satellite rights of ‘Ra.One’ for a whopping amount of Rs.40Crores. Earlier it was Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’ that had the satellite rights sold for Rs. 36Crores.
Touted to be a sci-fi thriller, Shah Rukh Khan has produced this movie under his home banner spending more money into the project as it boasts of such stunning visual effects and mind-boggling action sequences involving Hollywood technicians.
On the dot, this is the first time a movie’s satellite right has been sold for a record-breaking price.‘Ra.One’ features Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in lead roles and is scheduled to hit screens on Oct 26, for the festive occasion of Diwali.
